Take Action! CA State Legislature Considers New Camping Rules
Send an email to the CA Senate Housing Committee today!
Great news! As we mentioned in a previous blog post, the California state legislature is discussing a bill (Senate Bill 620) this spring that could make low-impact camping on private lands much easier across the state.
Campers and Hosts alike agree: the state should take action on removing red tape for campsites that support rural economic development, land conservation, and are safe for neighbors and campers alike.
Senate Bill 620 is up for its first hearing in the California Senate Housing Committee on April 18. Will you stand with our diverse coalition of partners - including the American Glamping Association, California Certified Organic Farms, Outdoor Afro, and more - to advocate that the committee vote YES on this important bill?
[NOTE - this action is no longer needed and has been deactivated] Take action today -- use the "take action" at the top of this post and click "message" to email the members of the committee before their first vote!
